Fast forward to a few weeks ago. Wes was on a long road trip from Wisconsin to Vermont to pick up a new pup for training—a trip that would span days and thousands of miles. To break up the journey, Jay, who had known Wes for years, offered one of his short-term rentals in Cleveland as a pitstop for Wes and his dad.
