Highlight 2: 16:08–18:22 Content: Jay and Wesley on adapting to political change and staying prepared as CEOs. I think what it has done for me, this political environment at this time. It’s made me highly motivated. And I think I’m more up and I’m more driven at work. I want to hit the ground running. I think, you know, politics aside, I do think Trump is going to do something. I think he’s going to do something for the small businesses. At the end of the day, there One guy who holds the key to the building. Everyone else just works for him. One guy feeds families. And well, that’s kind of where Trump’s going. He wants us to make money. He wants families to be fed. So he’s got to help the guys who feed the families, which is us. So I’ve been trying to get all my ducks in a row that software in place. Processes in place not that they weren’t in we had presses before but I fine-tuned them because once Trump’s in office and maybe the stock market goes up real high and people feel a little more confident about spending money because they know that if you think about a lot of people got confidence in Donald And, you know, he lost the last election, but he won this one. And why did he win though? Everybody, when he was in office, didn’t like him. Now they’re realizing they need him because he, they just complained about him and they knew he was doing the right things when he was in office, but they complained about him on the media or whatever else. Now, and there’s just a different aura in the air. With everybody buying in Trump’s way of thinking or all putting their trust in Trump. Well, that’s making people excited. That’s making people feel the same way I do, which in turn, people are getting motivated to make some moves. People are getting motivated to start making some money. And that’s why I was putting things in place. If the changes are as drastic as they seem they are going to be will be the person who is identifying ahead of time where they can add value into the system. However way we look at this, from positve or negative, there is opportunity there. There is the something to say that we have today. And don’t forget that every year, the same amount of people that retire, right, in the U.S., that are American born at that state, there’s a very good chunk of Mexican born that weren’t legal in the US that now are making the track back. That happens every year, right? Those are the folks that are building in that are really injecting money in the economy of the US. Now imagine if that same thing happens like that with a bunch of people. Families moving and now the educational system of Mexico cannot support people that have kids of 15 that otherwise would be contributing their tax dollars as they had been for the last so there’s going to be if the changes are as drastic as they seem to be there’s going to be people will be able to be as you so eloquently put, but the person that will be able to feed him or herself will be the one identifying ahead of time where they can add value to the system, right? Whatever that is, however I look at this, even from the positive lens that you’re looking at, or from the negative lens of the other side of the aisle, there is opportunity there if you pivot. If you pivot, there’s opportunity there.
